Forgetful Sloth

February is here

Welcome in all, can you believe it's already February? I think that will be a weekly/monthly thing for me, the surprise each month with just how fast time flies. Well, first things first, it's 11pm on Sunday, and I just remembered I needed to write this blog. I am sitting here laughing as I am writing this. So yes, my CRS is still very strong, and my ADD is on full blast this year. So this week was a great week, so let's get into this.

Return Stream

So after being away for 17 months I had a return stream on Friday and was very surprised by the turnout. I did not expect anyone to turn out, and I'm blessed for everyone who did stop by. I for one, enjoyed myself and I'm looking forward to future streams. For those who missed it, the Vod is up, nothing special, just a couple of hours of gameplay and chatting. I did let everyone know that I will not be streaming full time like i did previously. The streams might be once a week or multiple times a week depending on work and other commitments, so because of that there will be no set schedule for the forseable future. I am definetly taking it more as a hobbyist approach, but with that being said I am going to try and make it an entertaining time. I have been working on adding in things like sound effects, lurkbait fishing, the drop game, etc. I will also be multistreaming my future streams, last stream I was dual streaming on twitch and on kick. I plan to work youtube into the mix also if my PC can handle running everything. Make sure to follow all my socials up on top left hand corner of the header. Expect to see me live again soon for more adventures.

Twitch Clips

So my ADD has had me floating from one thing to another, from cleaning things, organizing things, working on projects, or like recently I have started going through clips on my channel, removing meaningless clips, and naming clips with more appropriate names. Was something I always meant to do but never got around to doing. So has been nice to go back through and see old memories from previous streams. I plan to make a Twitch clip pre-roll that will run on my starting soon and be right back screens, so keep an eye out for those on my next stream.

3d Printer

Last week I wrote how my 3d printer experience has been improving and the printer was working great, well the universe heard me and decided to throw a wrench in that. On tuesday while I was sleeping something happened with the print I was making. Since it happened while I was sleeping i am not really sure the cause, but the filament somehow got burnt and the wires leading to the hotend melted. I ordered the part and didn't let the setback get me down. This year things aren't getting me down, they are making me more determined. I received the replacement part and proceeded to take apart my 3d printer. That did not end up going well, for some reason the manufacturer hot-glued the wires onto the control board, and while trying to attempt to remove the glue parts broke off. I decided that this ender printer was going to be retired and I was going to pick up a new more user-friendly printer. Thankfully, I have the company credit card so I picked up a Bambu A1 and am now waiting for the delivery. This printer will help me improve my business with a more reliable printer that doesn't take me forever to level, tram, and all the maintenance the ender needs and will be able to keep the new printer running continuously. I think I will also be able to make time-lapse videos from images from its onboard camera. So I am excited for this new printer and can't wait to share it more with you all.

Final Conclusion

This week has definitely been an interesting one with many ups and downs, but you know what, I never let any of it get me down. For every bad thing, I just took a moment, meditated, and enhanced my calm. I learned about a practice called Sho ga nai recently, roughly meaning "it can't be helped". So when things go wrong, I shrug it off more than I used to and just continue to work towards a better tomorrow. Recently, I found my "Streamer Motto" desktop background, which I used to keep up while I was streaming, that has 5 sayings on it to give me more focus.

1. Find your vision.

2. Never think small.

3. Ignore the naysayers

4. Work your ass off.

5. Give back and change the world.

These words were helpful for me during my partner push days and just as important to me today. It has been nice to reconnect with myself and be happy again. Well, I think I will wrap this up with, I really hope each and every one of you out there who has read this has enjoyed this week's blog and hope you will join me for this wonderful ride that will be 2026.
