2026, A New Year
Hello All,
A New Year
So it's 2026 already, A new year is upon us. Last year was a chaotic ride for me, but I made it through and onto better things. With this new year, I have started putting in place some systems to make this year the best ever for myself and my content. First, I will be posting weekly blogs on Monday covering what I have been up to for the week. My virtual photography is returning and being posted daily on X. Currently, I have a #NoCommentary playthrough of Dragon Age: The Veilguard being posted on my YouTube channel, and recording a fresh playthrough of Horizons: Forbidden West that will be released soon. I want to return to streaming, but not just on Twitch, but also on YouTube. I am still working on getting things set up for that return, but expect that to happen in the next couple of weeks. I will not be streaming full-time hours as I did previously, but I miss the community, so I do want to make a return.
Sloth Army Website
Work paused on the website for most of 2025 while I tried to keep the lights on and the bills paid. This year, though, I plan on bringing back reviews, guides, VP Photos, and the like, along with the weekly blog posts I mentioned previously. I also plan to link it to my crafting endeavors and my Etsy shop as well. I will be making a big push this year to get the website, my content, my art, and my crafts out to the world better, and this website will be the perfect platform for it.
Dedication to ones craft
On February 8, 2021, I became a partner on Twitch, proving to myself that if I dedicated myself to something, I could achieve great things. Then, 1 Year later, while having my partner celebration my Grandpa got very sick and a month later he passed away. Then the next year, 1 day short of a year from my grandpa passing, my cat of 15 years died. My partner's anniversary became a very hard time with a lot of bad memories attached to it, and I had a really hard time dealing with it; my mental health suffered. I moved away from my craft and focused on the wrong things. I ended up breaking down and leaving Twitch. Since I have been away, I have worked on myself and my mental conditioning. I have gotten the help I have needed, and I am feeling happier than I have in a long time. I now approach my content from the joy I get from it and not out of desperation to pay my bills with it. With this, I am refocusing myself on my craft and will be delivering this year like I did during my partner push days. I have a renewed sense of determination for my content creation and I’m excited to see this time next year where I will be.
Thank you for taking the time and reading this blog and hope you will join me for the adventure that will be 2026!
