A Fun Week
Two Streams
What a great week, I was able to get two streams in this week! Since my first stream back I have been very sad that I havent been able to stream more so this week was amazing. Since I have been back I have been blown away by the amazing community who have come back to hang out. Being away so long I had no idea what to expect and it still shocks me anyone comes out. I knew I would lose a lot of followers while I was away and I knew returning I would lose even more, such is the nature of the beast and live streaming, but yaknow what.... I don’t care, I’m doing for me and for the community. As much as I would love to grow and have everyone return I am ok losing those who are not into me, my content, or just don’t care about my return and that is ok. The time away has really grounded me and centered me once again. Before I left I was so far out of balanced I didn’t know which way was up and had to deal with toxic people around me keeping me off balanced. With those people gone now I can focus on myself and my content and not get distracted by the high school dramas of old so expect the good mood streams to continue far into the future.
Kick Streaming
When Kick was first introduced, and people started hopping over to reserve their usernames, I tried to do the same thing with the username "Aveege". To my shock and surprise, someone had taken the name and added some troll-like pictures as the avatar and banner, so I always assumed it was intentional. I created the account AveegeGaming and recently started multistreaming on Twitch and Kick with the hopes of giving people who enjoy Kick a place to hang out with the Sloth Army. This week I was contacted by the kick partner program with an offer to get my brand name on the platform and be made a Kick Partner. This honestly blew me away since I have not really had any success on the platform yet, and I haven't even gotten a single subscriber on there yet, but I was still so honored to get that green check. It brought back the memories of when I made partner on Twitch, and all the friends I have made and lost along the way since then, which has obviously influenced this blog post a little. I am not going to be back full-time, but this does give me some drive for the live streaming aspect of my journey.
The blogs future
Up until now, this blog has been just a rambling of my weekly adventures and my thoughts on my journey I am currently on, but I am thinking I should start to change that a little. All my career as a creator, I have always been hard and down on myself over the content I put out. I never felt that there was much value in what I did, and that even includes this blog, and I always wanted to offer things that had some value. It was why I started to shift over to print services and offering things of some value more than just pure entertainment, because let's be honest, I am not the most entertaining person out there, and I know this. I am debating a couple of avenues to go down with future blogs. I could write about streaming news, game news, tips and tricks for streaming, so something based around gaming or streaming, most likely. Like always, keep an eye out for new things.
Final Conclusions
I'm going to keep this blog short this week and just say again Thank you for everything you do for me, from reading this blog to liking social media posts, subscribing and watching my live streams and YouTube videos, just thank you for the support. YOU are amazing, and my life will forever be better having had your support. Things this year will continue to change, grow, and expand with me and my community and services I offer so I hope you will come with me and really enjoy the journey with me.
