A Day Late

It Finally Happened

Daily, I honestly do too many things, and I know that with my ADD I am constantly shifting from one task to another, from one project to another, and from one stream to another, and with that, things can be forgotten. When you suffer from CRS, your entire life, forgetting things is common, but still very frustrating. So, I missed my Monday blog post for this week and only just remembered it now (Tuesday Morning). I am surprised that this was my first missed day, I forget things so much quicker usually. Oh well, no excuses for my failures, it happened, and now it's time to continue on and keep chugging along this year, and to continue working on making changes to improve my workflow, my happiness, and my life.

Writing Can Be Difficult

As I sit here working on this blog and debating what topics to cover, a million ideas come to mind, but getting them all out can be the difficult part. Sometimes the words in your head are difficult to translate to paper, so to speak. What to cover weekly has been the hardest part about this blog, and maybe subconsciously, maybe that was why I "forgot" to write this yesterday. The brain works very mysteriously sometimes, but in the end, I am the one in control, and I always need to remember that. So let's continue on with this blog and this overall series for 2026 and get my subconscious over the difficulties of writing.

Wasted Time

While putting together episode 6 of my Let's Play series I relized somewhere I had made a horrible mistake and was not even sure how it was made. 30hrs of recorded gameplay footage from over a 2 week period had some type of error or corruption and had zero audio in it. I even rechecked my current settings and everything records correctly NOW. It has left me rather confused and angry, one for the lost time, and second, because I have to go back and restart my playthrough. Thankfully, I had only released 5 episodes so far so it wont take me long to rush back to the part I left off and start recording from that point. So yes a hurdle, an obstruction even in my weekly plan for this week but I will continue to soldier on and will make sure to check regularly that the audio is working correctly. Lesson learned that’s for sure.

Reviews

Recently I have been given the opportunity to take part in 2 interesting review programs. First, I was invited to join Amazon's vine program, where you get sent products for no cost upfront, but have to review the items, and then you do pay taxes on the items when you file your yearly taxes. I figure why not add a "Review" business to my suite of businesses I run under my LLC. So far I have gotten some building block sets, printer ink for business printers, and I even have a 12 pack of 3d printer fillament coming that I will be doing a review video on for my debut video on my AveegeBuilds youtube channel. Also I will be adding in the future some building block streams and reviewing some of the sets that I get, so keep an eye out for a building stream coming in March. Second, I was invited to join a book review team from the author Damon Zahariades who wrote "The Procastination Cure" (Affiliate link) a book that has really helped me find my way this year through the ADD fog that I tend to get. On this team I will get early access to his new books and will be writing reviews on them, and already have gotten a book from the team to review. "Silence Your Inner Critic" (Affiliate link) is the name of the book, and I am actually excited to see what he has to say on the topic. As a streamer, content creator, artist, and entertainer, I think being overly hard on ourselves is a common thing and I'm hoping this will help with that. Expect an update in the future on what I think about this book.

Streaming

Was able to get another stream in the books, which I am extremely happy about. Each stream, I love catching up with the community, and all you wonderful people, and I look forward to more in the future. Wednesday might be a good stream day this week if nothing new pops up, so keep your eyes peeled on Wednesday. My hope in the future is to have more than 1 stream a week, but I am not going to let the lack of streams discourage or get me down in any way. I will go LIVE as much as I can and will have an amazing time doing it! I have really been enjoying Deep Rock Galactic Survivor on stream, but that might be changing soon. I still have to get into Enshrouded, which I haven't even loaded up yet, Crimson Desert will be releasing next month, and I am really looking forward to checking that game out. Any other games out there that y'all are looking forward to coming out in the next few months? Drop a comment below and I might even check the game out on stream.

Final Conclusions

I think I am going to wrap this up here. I have so many other things I could talk about, but then this would turn into a novel and not a blog. So this week there were some setbacks, but then also some progress forward. I missed my blog post, but I have now written it. I lost a lot of footage, but that allows me to go back and record an even better rest of the playthrough. So not all setbacks are a bad thing. If you have something that sets you back, just pivot and continue forward, and you can achieve anything! Catch y'all next week on MONDAY and not Tuesday!
